Both Quavo and Saweetie might be in hot water in regards to their elevator altercation, which the LAPD is now investigating.
Sources from the LAPD said that police are looking to speak with both parties separately to discuss what went down in the video that showed the former couple fighting over a game console box.
The video, which was recorded last year, starts with a shot of Saweetie swinging at Quavo. They both begin to fight over the orange gaming case, and Quavo takes Saweetie’s arm and drags her into the elevator, where they both collide against the back wall.
During the remainder of the elevator ride, Quavo stands up, but Saweetie stays on the floor. She is then seen walking out of the elevator, limping out as the car comes to a halt.
Apparently, this altercation could be considered an instance of domestic violence, where both are in the wrong. Police are looking to speak with them to determine what happened prior to the elevator surveillance.
In terms of a potential criminal case, once cops finish their investigation, they’ll possibly hand it over to the City Attorney to check for any adjustments.
