Quavo will make his feature-film debut alongside Robert DeNiro, John Malkovich, and Jack Huston in the forthcoming film, “Wash Me in the River.”
Quavo, whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, will portray the role of Coyote, a heartless drug lord. The film will focus on an opioid addict seeking revenge on Coyote responsible for selling the drugs that resulted in his girlfriend’s death.
The film is directed by Randall Emmett, who makes his second directorial appearance. He referred to Quavo as a “superstar” and “real actor.”
Quavo said that it was unbelievable to work with Robert DeNiro and Jack Huston. He also revealed that he will be doing a few stunts in the film.
Previously, the Migos member portrayed various roles in television series, including ABC’s “Black-ish,” FX’s “Atlanta,” Netflix’s “Narcos: Mexico,” and Fox’s “Star.”
