Sports brand Lids has announced that Migos star, Quavo, is the company’s newest brand ambassador.
Quavo becomes the latest hip-hop star to team up with Lids. Earlier this year, rapper Meek Mill announced that he had also become a part-owner of the company.
The 28-year-old QC artist announced his latest endeavor during an interview with Business Insider.
“I grew up going to Lids,” he explained. “I grew up shopping at Lids; you know what I’m saying? Lids has been around for more than 20 years.”
While there is no word on exactly how the company plans on utilizing Quavo in upcoming campaigns, he has already begun eyeing trends in the baseball cap industry, gearing up to make the most of his newfound partnership.
“Right now, in this time, like 2019, 2018, 2020, I think the fitted caps are making a comeback, and I just feel like it’s the right time to link with Lids,” he said.
Quavo isn’t just busy in the sporting goods business. During the interview, he also confirmed that the next Migos project will be arriving in 2020.
“We dropping that next year,” He confirmed. “We haven’t dropped in two years. We haven’t had anything out since ‘Pure Water.’
