On Wednesday, the Recording Academy announced that Quavo would honor his late Migos bandmate Takeoff during the 2023 Grammy Awards.
Quavo will perform his single ‘Without You‘ along with the Maverick City Music choir to “remember the life and legacy” of his nephew.
On January 4, Quavo released his first song after Takeoff’s passing. The song, which also includes Vory, was produced by Zaytoven, Murda Beatz, Mike Dean, and others.
“The star-studded in-memoriam will pay tribute to some of those from the creative community whom we have lost this year,” a representative commented.
On November 1, Takeoff—real name Kirsnick Khari Ball—was shot and killed in Houston, Texas. He was 28.
