Queen Elizabeth has broken her silence about Meghan and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah.
A statement released by Buckingham Palace Tuesday said: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
‘The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
“Harry, Meghan, and Archie will always be much-loved family members.”
Prince Harry and Meghan claimed in the two-hour CBS interview that a senior member of the royal family came to Harry with ‘concerns’ and ‘questions’ about how dark baby Archie’s skin would be when he was born.
Harry refused to elaborate on the conversation and didn’t reveal who made the comments because it would be “damaging.”
He did tell Oprah, though, that it wasn’t his grandmother, the Queen, or his grandfather Prince Philip who made the racist comments.
