Quincy Wilson, 16, is the youngest U.S. male track Olympian after being chosen for the U.S. 4×400 meter relay team.
Wilson made a stunning debut at the U.S. Olympic Trials, setting two world records. He broke a 42-year-old record in the under-18 400m dash with a 44.66-second run, then improved it to 44.59 seconds two days later.
Late Sunday he shared his excitement on Instagram, “WE GOING TO THE OLYMPICS #paris2024 #teamusa.”
Quincy’s hard work and talent have paid off, marking a significant milestone as he prepares for his career in the Olympics.
As Issa Rae would say, “I’m rooting for everybody that’s Black.”
