R Kelly Releases “I Admit It” Album From Prison, Sony Music Says It‘s Bootleg And Not An Official Release

R. Kelly isn’t getting off the disgrace train anytime soon. On top of the shameful allegations already against him, he’s dropped an album called “I Admit It,” straight from his prison cell.

And while many questioned if Sony Music was behind it, the global music conglomerate took no time to speak on the matter.

A source from Sony told TMZ that despite the album’s claim of being a release from Legacy Release it isn’t. Apparently, it’s an unofficial release and the culprit behind the biggest surprise album of 2022 remains unknown.

And while Kelly may have thought he’d be collecting coins from album streams, Friday afternoon, the album was pulled from Apple, Tidal and Spotify.

The album had consisted of 13 songs, including “I Found Love,” “Good Ole Days” and “Freaky Sensation.”

Lyrics from the album are said to discuss the years of allegations again at him, TMZ reported.

But Kelly’s last 3 tracks might be the most interesting of the whole project — it’s a 3-part piece titled “I Admit it (I Did It).”

In 2018, the Chicago native put the full 19-minute track on SoundCloud, but Friday’s release marks the first time it became available on streaming platforms.

Spotify also chose to remove Kelly’s music in 2018 after allegations mounted against him. But it appears he’ somehow made his way back to the platform early Friday.

In the lengthy “I Admit” song, Kelly sings, “I done f***ed with a couple of fans” and admitted to sleeping with one of his girlfriend’s friends. He also defends himself against scrutiny, “How they gon’ say I don’t respect these women when all I’ve done is represent” and “You mad I’ve got some girlfriends.”

And again, sees no wrong in his actions: “They’re brainwashed, really? Kidnapped, really? Can’t eat, really? Real talk, that s*** sound silly.”

At one point, he seems to place the blame on the parents of one of his flings, “And if you really, really wanna know. Her father dropped her off at my show. And told this boy to put her on the stage. I admit that she was overage.”
