R. Kelly and his ex-wife are taking shots at one another with fast food restaurants as their ammo.
While Kelly lives his life still as a free man, it seems he’s found the time to find humor in not paying his ex-wife’s child support. TMZ caught up with Kelly’s crisis manager, Darell Johnson, who told the outlet that the singer’s ex-wife and daughter’s “TMZ Live” interview is flawed, saying Kelly should not have to pay child support to a 21-year-old. The child support agreement Kelly and his ex-wife #DreaKelly decided on orders that he pay child support until their daughter, BakuAbi, is 23.
Kelly believes Drea is using the child support money for her own benefit and says it’s time for her find employment. After Drea suggested Kelly work at the restaurant #DelTaco, Kelly responded that she should consider Burger King or McDonald’s as prospective jobs. Kelly is supposed to pay $21,000 a month in child support, but he’s currently behind $32,000.
Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg, also said Kelly is tired of Drea attacking him, saying “she needs to get a life.”
