In January, Cook County State Attorney’s Office in Illinois set up a phone line for victims who wanted to share their stories about being allegedly abused by singer R. Kelly. Since then, it hasn’t provided much for investigators as far as prosecuting Kelly, but it has apparently fed their imaginations.
According to TMZ, the hotline is being severely misused by numerous women calling in to talk about their alleged sexual rendezvous with the R&B star. The calls from “mostly women” are full of highly detailed alleged sexual experiences, with some callers sharing multiple occurrences and bragging about sleeping with Kelly.
Men who called in reportedly spoke about stories they heard from women they know, none of them saying they had sex with Kelly themselves.
Kelly already has sexual assault charges against him, in addition to claims regarding his involvement in sex trafficking. Investigators are currently searching for video evidence of the singer engaging in sexual activities with a minor.
