When a husband’s fed up, there’s nothing you can do about it. R. Kelly may have to learn this the hard way.
According to court documents filed in Mississippi, Kenny Bryant, a Mississippi sheriff’s deputy, claims that his wife, Asia Childress, has been carrying on an extramarital affair with R. Kelly. Bryant says that Childress admitted to seeing R. Kelly prior to their marriage, but convinced him that their relationship was over. The court docs say that Bryant and Childress, who have been married since July 2012, lived together happily as husband and wife until Kellz came back around in October of that year.
Over the next five years, Childress and Kelly would have multiple meet-ups in Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and other states. They also communicated via telephone and text messaging. Childress continued this relationship behind her husband’s back, even convincing her husband to quit his job and move them to Atlanta. Unfortunately, Bryant wasn’t able to find a good job in Atlanta and the move financially crippled him. That didn’t matter to Childress though, because her real reason for moving was so it would be easier to be with her R&B Lover.
The tea gets hotter, though. According to the documents filed, Childress contracted chlamydia from R. Kelly.
Bryant is accusing the singer of wrecking his marriage and inflicting “emotional, psychological and financial loss” on his life.
