Late last week, several witnesses testified in front of a grand jury and detailed their own accounts of R. Kelly’s alleged sexual history with underage women. During the hearing, one of the witnesses, a former employee of the self-proclaimed Pied Piper of R&B, said there were even more tapes of Kelly’s sexual encounters with the young girls, as he reportedly kept the evidence as trophies.
According to TMZ, the former worker revealed to the court that the tapes, which were once in employee’s possession, are now in the hands of federal officials. Sources say, the employee revealed to the grand jury that the singer paid a large amount of money to retrieve the tape but somehow, it ended up with Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.
The former employee also said that other tapes, featuring R. Kelly, were turned over to police, and if that wasn’t enough, the ex-worker also revealed that most of the singer’s crew was well aware that he was sexually involved with underage girls. But, instead of turning him in, they reportedly helped him lure them in.
Despite the new facts and charges, Kelly’s attorney says the claims are almost identical to those made in Kelly’s state case. “We will address them in court,” he said.
