Rachel Roy was not expecting a BeyHive attack when she posted the “good hair” comment following Beyonce’s “Lemonade” viewing. Now that things have gotten seemingly ugly on social media, Roy is likely taking precautions regarding her safety offline.
On Monday, Rachel Roy was scheduled to speak at a seminar called “Mastering Your Métier” in New York City. However, ahead of the event, she pulled out due to a “personal emergency.”
“Due to a personal emergency, Rachel Roy has had to cancel this evening’s event. Our apologies for any inconvenience,” Roy’s team said in an email.
Rachel Roy has since deleted the “good hair” post, and on Sunday, tweeted a brief statement on the matter. “I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind,” she tweeted. She hasn’t spoken further on the Jay Z rumors.
