A Florida woman was left shaken after a white man brutally attacked her at a gas station in a racist attack.
On Monday, a Jacksonville woman, Rayme McCoy, was inside a BP gas station on University Boulevard N and Fort Caroline road. She observed a white man, now identified as Kevin Troy Williamson, making racist comments toward someone outside the store. When he came inside, he continued ranting as he stood close behind McCoy in line. When she asked him for some space, he immediately aimed his verbal assault at her. Moments later, he was punching her wildly.

“I didn’t have time to react or anything, and once he hit me that first time, he kept hitting me. It didn’t stop,” she told Action News Jax.
The entire ordeal was caught on store surveillance and shows Williamson violently beating McCoy in her face and head as another customer walks up behind them, looking on. No one attempted to intervene.
On her Instagram account, McCoy shared that the man said Black people need to “go back” to where they’re from. She also told the news station that he claimed to have a gun in his car.
McCoy sustained numerous injuries, including a blood clot in her left eye, a black eye, knots on her temple and forehead, and a cut under her nose. She hopes that Williamson, a registered sex offender, is caught sooner than later.
Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is now on the hunt for Williamson before he can harm anyone else.
“I just pray that he is found & held accountable,” McCoy wrote on IG.
