Following the prison release of Kingpin Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, rapper Ralo has offered him some stern advice.
The musician, who was freed from federal prison in November of 2023 for his own drug case, urged the BMF founder to find a lawful hustle now that he is in a halfway house and one step closer to total freedom. Ralo shared an image of Meech from his glory days with a lengthy plea to the businessman.
“The streets is dead OG, get this legal money and stay out these f**k n***as way,” the “Crossed Out” rapped tweeted.

Meech has remained a mythical figure of sorts in hip-hop culture. For decades, rappers, from Fabolous to Jeezy, have mentioned his name in records, recounting moments from his incomparable run, which spanned from Detroit to Atlanta. Meech has long been known for his glamorous parties, earning a reputation for being a big spender in nightclubs everywhere. Many people have speculated about what his welcome home party might consist of. However, given that he will spend at least a year in a halfway house, it will likely be quite a while before he has the opportunity to reunite with old friends. Nevertheless, Ralo is hoping to make sure Meech doesn’t fall in with the wrong people who steer him the wrong way.
“Don’t even worry about what Ah f**k n***a say. Most of these so called street n***as ain’t even made Ah million out the dope game, but always talking street s**t,” he wrote.
Meech has not spoken out publicly since his release.
