While St. Louis Rams quarterback Case Keenum is recovering from a concussion he suffered last week while playing the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL has concluded his investigation and team officials will not be penalized for mishandling the concussion protocol.
It was during last Sunday’s game Ravens defensive end Timmy Jernigan broke through and tackled Keenum, who landed hard as the back of his head bounced off the ground.
Although Rams head athletic trainer Reggie Scott came on the field to talk to Keenum, He still stayed in the game for the next two downs.
The NFL launched its investigation and have decided they will not hand out any punishments. However, the NFLPA will continue its own investigation.
