Philadelphia rapper Freeway is grieving the loss of his 21-year-old daughter, who has passed away from cancer.
Early Sunday morning, the rap legend took to Instagram to share a tribute for his daughter, Harmony. Freeway posted a video clip of Harmony dancing on her 21st birthday back in February. In the caption, the Philly rapper says a few heartfelt things about his baby girl as well as how he’s feeling after the news.
“I promise y’all she was the sweetest most kind most caring generous loving adorable person I know. Allah Really blessed me putting her in my life. I love her so much and this hurts so bad. This video was February of this year on her 21st birthday. Even though she was fighting cancer she was always happy and always smiling and she always brightened up my day. She truly was my best friend and I don’t know what I’m gonna do this pain is unimaginable.”
The news of his daughter’s passing comes just a year after Freeway’s son dies from complications of accidental drug intoxication.
Many people wouldn’t be able to keep their sanity after losing a child, but Freeway sat down on Young Jeezy’s The ReSession podcast and shared how his faith helped him cope.
Prayers up for the rap legend!
