Rising rap star BigXthaPlug was arrested early Wednesday morning in Texas on a marijuana possession charge, TMZ reports.
The Dallas-born artist was taken into custody and booked at the Arlington City Jail after being pulled over for expired tags. According to Arlington police, officers detected the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle and asked BigX and his passenger, identified as 22-year-old Cleodist Landum, to exit the car.
