Rae Sremmurd Rapper Slim Jxmmi’s Assault Case Dropped After Ex-Girlfriend Retracts Her Claim

The battery lawsuit against Slim Jxmmi was dismissed after the alleged victim retracted her claims.

According to court documents, prosecutors in Florida say there is no good faith basis for bringing any battery charges against Slim since the rapper‘s girlfriend has already recanted on her battery claim.

Previous reports say that Miami-Dade County police arrested Slim after he allegedly ripped hair extensions from his girlfriend’s scalp in January.

Slim’s girlfriend later recanted her account, stating he never laid his hand on her, according to the documents.

Since the alleged victim recanted and would not cooperate, there was a “credibility concern” that made it difficult to prove a case against Slim, so charges were not filed.
