Rapper SpotemGottem was arrested Thursday after police spotted him lying next to an AK-47 in his Florida hotel room.Â
The 19-year old, real name Nehemiah Harden, faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and accessory after the fact to a felony.Â
The charges stem from an open warrant Harden had from an incident in June when he and his friends broke a gate on a parking garage. The rapper reportedly pulled a gun on a person who confronted them as they fled the scene.Â
U.S. Marshals tracked his location to a hotel just outside Miami. They entered the hotel room around 9:30 a.m. with an arrest warrant and took Harden into custody without incident.
He was released on an $18,500 bond Friday.
Harden is scheduled to perform at the upcoming Rolling Loud festival in Miami on July 23 and is also in the lineup when the festival hits New York’s Citi Field on October 29.
