There has been big talk lately about producer Timbaland’s new protégé, Tink. The 19-year old Chicago native rapper is already making her presence known in the music industry.
In late November, Timbaland visited Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to talk about his new artist and even previewed a couple of her latest tracks like the original “Movin’ Bass” featuring Rick Ross, Tink, and Jay Z and “Around the Clock” which features non other than The Breakfast Club’s very own, Charlamagne Tha God.
On the “Around the Clock” record, Tink raps over a hardcore Milli and Timbaland produced beat while Charlamagne speaks his truth so poetically. The video was directed by DGainz and it goes just as hard as the song.
“Tim dropped the beat in the studio and it instantly gave me a hip-hop vibe,” Tink told The Fader, which premiered the video. “I wanted the video to match that same feeling. Raw and simple.”
