Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth is giving back by donating water filters to families in need in Jackson, Mississippi.
As the community in Jackson continues to suffer from the water crisis, outside assistance is throwing in a helping hand.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Trae Tha Truth donated 100 water filters, groceries and other supplies to the city in an effort to help up to 50 families in the area. He also personally delivered water filters personally and showed families how to install them, TMZ reports.
While visiting families, they shared with the rapper their concerns and struggles they’ve experienced during crises. There are still 150,000 residents in Jackson that do not have drinkable water.
