Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has admitted to being the driver of the Lamborghini that caused a multi-vehicle car wreck.
His attorney, Royce West, made the revelation during a Thursday press conference. However, most people already knew this. Rice was seen on camera fleeing the vehicle with several others after causing the crash in Dallas over the weekend.
“Mr. Rice acknowledged that he was driving the Lamborghini, that was the question that was asked. He responded to that. That he was driving the Lamborghini,” West confirmed.

There have been rumors online that Rice was racing someone in a Corvette when the crash occurred. Occupants of that luxury car also walked away unscathed.
Officers who responded to the North Central Expressway in Dallas on Saturday evening determined that two speeding cars lost control and caused “a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles.” The investigation remains ongoing.

One of the occupants of a car that was struck during the crash, Kayla Quinn, said Rice’s actions placed her 4-year-old son at risk. It appears that the affected drivers are seeking legal action, though Rice’s lawyer is hoping people will be slow to judge the NFL player. He also shared an apology via Instagram Story that read, “I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday’s accident.”
