Raven-Symoné Reveals She Got Two Breast Reductions & Liposuction Before She Turned 18 [Video]

Disney star Raven-Symoné has made a shocking revelation about her plastic surgery journey that began before she hit 18.

Symoné sat down with her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, for the latest episode of their “The Best Podcast Ever” show, where she detailed undergoing two breast reductions and liposuction before she was of legal age. According to the 37-year-old, her father, Christopher Pearman, was on board with the surgeries because he witnessed the bullying she endured regarding her weight. After the first reduction, she believed that her breasts were still too big after she put on a few pounds, which pushed her to go for a second round.

The procedures were terrifying because the young star suffered a seizure shortly after waking up from her first breast reduction operation. She is not exactly sure what brought on the condition, though the incident quickly caused her to pass back out.

“I remember waking up and seeing everything, and then I just started to have this dry mouth and couldn’t breathe and went back under,” she explained to Maday, adding that while the incident scared her, there are no regrets about the procedures because they have prevented her breast from becoming too large with age, currently wearing a double-D bra size. She was originally a triple-D when she underwent surgery.

Symoné is now focusing on healthier means of dropping weight. She has recently lost 40 pounds. Her wife has helped her along the way, encouraging her to kick her sugar addiction by going on a zero-sugar diet.
