Pastor Jamal Bryant’s controversial interview with Ray J has finally been released, featuring several shocking revelations from the singer about his mental state.
During the sit-down, initially delayed after Ray J warned Bryant not to release it without, the “One Wish” singer opened up about his struggles with suicidal thoughts. He recounted a difficult moment in Mexico when he stood on a roof, contemplating taking his own life.
“That was when I was on the roof. I thought about suicide a lot, but that was when I attempted it. And I really didn’t want to do it, but I really did want to do it. Because it’s like when you have a bad dream and then you think it’s real, it feels real, and then you wake up, I be feeling like that life really happening,” Ray J revealed to Bryant.
In recent years, Ray J has been in the headlines for his bizarre behavior. He has faced criticism for supporting Donald Trump and, just days ago, threatened to assault Pastor Bryant. Despite his initial unhappiness with the interview, it seems his issues with Bryant have since been resolved.
Elsewhere in the conversation, the 43-year-old made startling claims about unnamed individuals he believes are plotting to kill him.
“They’re very bad people. And they’ve been controlling me this whole time. Just like the National Syndicate and all this. They’ll come kill me, bro. They’ll kill me for this. Literally murder me. I’ll be like, tomorrow you’ll be like, ‘yeah, Ray J overdosed from some fentanyl that he did.’ It’s like, ‘damn, Ray J was a drug addict. He died.’ That ain’t really bad. They killed me,” he asserted. He even joked about needing to be in a “pastor protection program.”
Ray J also shared that he now wears a bulletproof vest out of fear, believing that Hollywood elites are targeting his life.
