Ray J is speaking out after what he says was a recent attempt on his life.
The singer and entrepreneur took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday to share his side, alleging that unknown assailants “just tried to shoot me” in what he described as an attempt to “kill” him. Though he didn’t provide specifics on the situation, Ray J made it clear that he has no plans to back down or apologize for whatever feud may have sparked the incident.
While Ray J didn’t elaborate on who may have been involved, the incident arrives just weeks after he was seen in a tense exchange with Diddy’s sons—Christian, Quincy, and Justin—outside a Halloween party in Los Angeles. Sources reported that the conflict was allegedly sparked by comments Ray J made about Diddy’s legal troubles. Fortunately, tempers were cooled when Chris Brown and Ray’s manager, David Weintraub, intervened, preventing the situation from escalating further.
Earlier, Ray J went on social media to urge Pastor Jamal Bryant to pull a recent interview they filmed. He threatened that if the interview airs, “someone is getting snatched off the pulpit.” It seems that Ray regrets his words and wants to prevent people from hearing what he had to say.
While it’s unclear if the alleged shooting is linked to either of these confrontations or if it stems from a separate issue, Ray J’s post suggests the singer is dealing with serious tensions.
