Ray J went live on Instagram Thursday night in what seemed to have followed an incident between him and Princess Love. The singer can be heard telling his kids, Melody and Epik, that there was no real fight between him and their mom.
In the video, Ray J reassures Epik, saying, “Dada never did nothing to nobody. Mama never did nothing to me, dada never did nothing to mama, right?” He added, “We’re just making a movie. We’re just playing. Everything is safe.”
As the video continues, Melody can be heard upset and crying, “That’s my brother,” while Ray J tries to calm her down, saying, “It was just pretend, okay baby?” He insists that both he and Princess Love love each other and that everything is fine. Melody’s cries grow louder as she repeatedly says, “I love my brother.”
The clip ends with Ray J asking his kids to apologize to their mother for him, and when one of them says, “Mama wants to take your hug,” Ray J responds, “Then everything’s okay? Alright, cool.”
After Princess Love caught wind of the Live, she took to her IG stories to respond saying she’s been trying her best to be the bigger person. However, she won’t allow Ryay to “traumatize, manipulate and gaslight” their kids when he can no longer do that to her.
