The family and management of former B2K member Raz B are speaking out after a series of concerning incidents involving the artist circulated online.
“The family and management team of Raz B would like to thank everyone for the outpour of love expressed for him over the past few days,” a statement provided to Baller Alert said. “His family and his team are by his side ensuring he gets the care he needs. We solicit your continued prayers for him and ask that you respect our privacy as we continue to navigate the days ahead.”
The statement comes after a video surfaced Thursday showing the singer on a Missouri medical facility roof, seemingly trying to escape. TMZ reports that the incident occurred Thursday morning at Saint Luke’s Hospital, where the Zeus reality star was scheduled to undergo surgery.
According to law enforcement sources, Raz B allegedly broke a window to gain access to the roof and climbed out. Concerned about the possibility of him jumping off the building, emergency personnel took precautions by placing mats on the ground. Fortunately, Raz B eventually decided to return inside and received medical attention from hospital staff.
However, a day before this incident, the 37-year-old artist took to Instagram to express concerns for his safety. It appeared he was filming from a Hilton Hotel lobby.
“Call all my Army friends, my Marine friends. No, I’m not good… I’m not saying that something’s going on, I’m just letting my people know that I don’t feel safe.”
Thursday night, the artist’s brother took to Instagram urging fans to pray for Raz B.
