On Saturday, R&B singer Chris Williams, was booked for swiping a pair of pricey headphones from Kohl’s in McDonough, Georgia.
According to TMZ, Williams went to the store with a tote bag, wearing a baseball cap to keep a low profile. He then walked to the back of the store and nabbed a pair of $99 JBL headphones.
Sources say, Williams put the headphones in his bag and tried to exit the building but security intervened. He reportedly told officials it was all a misunderstanding, as he forgot he put the headphones in his bag. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Shortly after, Williams was arrested and booked for petty theft. He has since been released.
