“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Kim Zolciak believes that Kenya Moore’s departure from the series is for the best.
The former peach holder recently sat down with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast while promoting her appearance on MTV’s “Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets.” During the chat, she discussed her thoughts about the current state of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Zolciak, who has a long-standing feud with Moore, praised the decision to exclude Moore from the franchise after her alleged revenge porn scandal.
“I think it’s the best thing that could ever happen to that show,” Zolciak shared.
It has been widely documented that Moore shared explicit images of “RHOA” newcomer Brittany Eady during the grand opening of her salon. Even more shocking was that Bravo cameras were rolling to capture the moment. The images depicted Eady allegedly performing oral sex and were blown up poster-size for all guests to witness. Moore denied that she engaged in revenge porn, claiming that the images were readily available online. She also accused the real estate entrepreneur of threatening her with a gun, though this could not be substantiated during an investigation into the matter. Moore was ultimately removed from the show, with many insiders claiming Bravo suspended her, though others suggest Moore walked away willingly. No matter who truly made the final decision, Moore will not be appearing in season 16. With the hair care businesswoman now gone, Zolciak says she would consider rejoining the series during another promotional chat with Entertainment Tonight.
“I heard Phaedra [Parks] might be making her way back, and that would be an awesome choice. I might have to consider it with Phaedra because she’s so funny, and all I do is laugh when I’m around her,” she shared with the outlet.
Parks has not been confirmed as a cast member, though several outlets have reported that Parks may be in negotiations to return. Currently, there are no known offers to bring back Zolciak.
