Release Roundup: June Sneaker Drops

This June is packed with dope sneaker releases. The month is stacked with Jordan releases, but the month starts off strong with a collab between United Arrows and New Balance.

June 1 United Arrows & Sons x New Balance 990v3

Japanese label United Arrows is teaming up with New Balance on a simple colorway. The shoe’s suede, mesh, and perforated leather fixtures are gray. Most of the sole and the outline of the “N” logo are done in white. The logo also features silver metallic detailing, complementing the heel tab and the trim along the tip of the forefoot. The kicks will drop online at United Arrows or New Balance and retail for $250.

June 1 Nike KD 15 “50 Years of Hip Hop”

Nike will commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop throughout 2023 with limited edition releases, and the KD 15 “50 Years of Hip Hop” is set to drop on June 1. The label on the tongue of the sneaker will read “50 Years of Hip Hop” under the Nike brand. Both the leather heel pull tabs and insoles will read “EA$SY” for KD’s “Easy Money” branding. To really drive the hip hop theme, the shoes come with a gold metallic microphone hangtag. They will retail for $150.

June 6 Air Jordan 3 GS “Hide ‘N Sneak”

To celebrate Children’s Day, the Air Jordan 3 “Hide ‘N Sneak” will drop on June 6 exclusively in kid’s sizes. The kicks feature a white leather upper with an elephant print toe and heel overlay. The Jumpman logo on the tongue and heel tab is black with a grey ankle collar. Sail provides a vintage look to the shoe on the midsole, with black accenting and a black outsole. The shoe has a cartoon elephant hangtag and will retail for $150.

June 10 Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Washed Heritage”

A “Washed Heritage” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro OG will release in June. The sneaker comes in a white leather base with different shades of grey suede on the overlays and the ankle collar. The Wings logo is white on the ankle flap, black on the liner, and the midsole is sail with a black outsole. A red Nike Air and swoosh on the tongue add a nice pop of color. The show will be available on the SNKRS app and sold at select retailers for $180.

June 16 Air Jordan 2 Retro Low “Cherrywood”

A “Cherrywood” colorway Air Jordan 2 Retro Low is also expected to release in June. The shoes feature an all-white leather base with a Python print on the overlays. The Cherrywood Red accent is featured on the heel tab, piping, liner, and Wings logo on the tongue for a nice pop of color on an otherwise plain shoe. The sneaker is finished with a white midsole and gray and Cherrywood outsole. They will retail for $150 and be available on the SNKRS app.

June 20 Jordan Tatum 1 “Pink Lemonade”

Jayson Tatum’s signature sneaker gets the “Pink Lemonade” treatment when it drops later in June. Tatum said he wanted to create a shoe that connects with children and makes them feel like they know him personally. The colorful shoe will be available on SNKRS, Nike’s website, and select retailers when it drops. It will retail for $120.

June 23 Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Cement”

The second elephant print shoe of the month will not be exclusive to children’s sizes. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Cement” has s black nubuck upper and black mesh tongue, gray elephant print overlays, and white swooshes. The tongue tag contrasts the black tongue with Nike Air and the signature swoosh in sail. They will retail for $140 and be available at select retailers and on Nike’s website. 

June 30 Air Jordan 7 “White Infrared”

The Jordan 7s will get the “White Infrared” treatment with a white, crimson, and black color scheme. The sneaker is primarily white with crimson and black accents throughout. The outsoles come in a white icy translucent blue and really look sharp in contrast to the white, black, and crimson details. The White Infrared will come to Nike’s website and select retailers later in June. The shoe is priced at $200.
