Remy Ma seemingly confirmed her relationship with battle rap star Eazy The Block Captain during a highly anticipated Chrome 23 event on Sunday.
Eazy, competing against Shotgun Suge in the main event, took direct aim at Remy’s husband, Papoose, during his performance, further fueling rumors of their fractured marriage.
Using Papoose’s famous “Alphabetical Slaughter” rhyme scheme, Eazy referred to claims that Pap had knocked him out as “delusional.” He followed with the bar, “What happens when she stopped at E?,” implying Remy chose him over her husband. The line sent the crowd into a frenzy.
Eazy then turned to Remy Ma, asking directly, “Hey yo, Remy, don’t you love me?” Remy replied with a resounding “Yes.” Eazy doubled down, adding, “See right there, that’s no punchline.”
The rapper’s public profession of love comes months after rumors of an affair between her and Eazy surfaced during his battle with Geechi Gotti. Gotti accused Remy of betraying Papoose, who stood by her during her eight-year incarceration. While Papoose initially remained silent, the situation escalated late last year when Remy alleged that Papoose had been romantically involved with boxing champion Claressa Shields and other women.
Papoose responded by posting a Christmas 2023 photo of Remy and Eazy together, confirming rumors of their relationship. He also admitted to assaulting Eazy, claiming he punched him after Eazy “shook his hand” before pursuing his wife.
Eazy and Shields have since joined the fray, with Eazy denying Papoose’s claims of being knocked unconscious and challenging him to a fight. Shields offered to fight Remy as well, accusing the rapper of sharing her private number during their heated exchange.
