Remy Ma is finally breaking her silence after Gloria Velez claimed she physically beat the rapper during an altercation years ago.
In her now-deleted Instagram Story, Remy pushed back on the allegations, calling them completely fabricated.
“People will really make up a WHOLE LIE with YOU IN IT and tell the story with a straight face! [laughing emoji],” she wrote. She also added a promotional note for her platform, saying, “I’m looking for great storytellers that can use some $… submissions are open @RemyNetwork.”
The claims from Velez first surfaced in a VladTV interview, where she recounted multiple confrontations with Remy Ma in the early 2000s. According to Velez, the conflicts escalated at a Jadakiss party in New York City, where she allegedly attacked Remy physically.
Velez explained the incident, saying, “It got personal when she mentioned my son’s school. That’s when I saw red… You’re threatening my child now — that’s when I threw the punch […] I ripped off her jewelry and stomped her with my boots.”
She went on to claim that Remy reached out to Fat Joe afterward, which led to another confrontation.
“When she came back, I fought her again. She was just angry […] Still talking about shooting people as a grown woman — that’s not gangster.”
Remy’s response dismisses Velez’s story entirely, emphasizing that it is a fabrication.
