After the 2023 NBA Finals, Shannon Sharpe bid farewell to Skip Bayless on the popular FS1 show ‘Undisputed.’
As Skip struggles to find a suitable replacement willing to join him, it has been reported first by Front Office Sports that Sharpe is making progress in returning to morning television.
FSO reported that Sharpe is in talks with Bayless’ old company, ESPN, about a ‘high level’ contributor role, including him debating with Stephen A. Smith on First Take. Unc being a part of the Disney sports network seems plausible since they possess the necessary connections and infrastructure to rival what FOX offered him on a daily basis, including his podcast’ Club Shay Shay.’
Hopefully, a deal will be reached before the first week of the NFL season so Sharpe, Michael Irvin, Ryan Clark and Stephen A. Smith can react to the season.
After finding out he was trending online Wednesday, Unc took to Twitter with a message.
“My daughter called me and says, Daddy, you’re trending. Why am I trending or do I even want 2 know? Lottery officials aren’t suppose to leak info,” he joked.
