These Restaurants Are Giving Out Discounts and Free Meals For Veterans Day 2023

In celebration of Veterans Day, restaurants and fast food chains across the nation are offering a wide array of complimentary meals, discounts, and coupons to veterans and active-duty military personnel.

The majority of discounts and complimentary meals are typically available on Friday and are only available with proof of service, such as a military ID or being in uniform. Additionally, discharge papers, VA cards, and membership cards from veteran organizations can also be used as verification. Furthermore, these offers are generally limited to patrons who choose to dine in at the establishments.

Discounts and complimentary meals are applicable at most national restaurants and chains listed below. Although some exclusions may apply, and the offers can vary depending on the location. Individuals can verify whether specific restaurants are participating in Veterans Day promotions by contacting their local establishments.

Here are a few offers available to veterans and active-duty military personnel for Veterans Day 2023:

Starbucks:

Starbucks is introducing a unique element to its customary Veterans Day promotion by providing a complimentary tall (12-ounce) hot or iced coffee. This offer is valid for veterans, military service members, and military spouses and can be redeemed once per customer at participating Starbucks stores across the United States.

Smoothie King:

Active-duty and retired military guests who present a valid ID can enjoy complimentary 20-ounce smoothies as a token of appreciation.

Cici’s Pizza:

All active and retired military personnel are eligible for a complimentary adult buffet, exclusively for dine-in, with the exclusion of beverages.

Applebee’s:

Active Duty Military, Veterans, Reserves, and National Guard members dining in-restaurant will receive a free full-size entrée from a special menu. Additionally, they will be given a $5 bounce-back card, which can be redeemed for dine-in, To Go orders, or delivery within a three-week timeframe.

IHOP:

IHOP is extending a generous offer to Veterans and Active Duty Military by providing them with a complimentary order of Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes for dine-in service at participating IHOP restaurants.
