During the second part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 14 reunion, Kenya Moore revealed that she is still legally married to her estranged husband, Marc Daly, despite filing for divorce over 16 months ago.
“[I’m] still not divorced,” Moore said while speaking about moving on with her life.
Moore and Daly, who have a 3-year-old daughter named Brooklyn, married in June 2017 and split in September 2019. The couple rekindled their relationship in February 2020 and split again in January 2021.
Moore filed for divorce in May of that year, claiming in court documents that she had been living apart from her husband since September 2019 and that their marriage had been “irretrievably broken.”
According to Moore, alimony or child support are not the reasons why there’s a holdup with their divorce. “He’s not asking for anything at this point. It’s just at a standstill,” she said. “So until we get a trial date or settle, it’s still going to go on.”
Although the divorce is not yet finalized, Kenya said it wasn’t stopping her from dating.
“I’m definitely doing some group dating and have people pursuing me, but nothing serious yet,” she said.
“I’m doing better in business than I’ve ever done in my entire life,” Moore continued. “People are flooding me with, ‘Hey, my friend wants to meet you,’ guys reaching out. I just have that energy right now.”
Prior to the reunion, Moore appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in May, where she said: “I feel like it’s been going on for years too. I want it to be over. The holdup is on the other side.”
She said. “Get me free! Get me free!”
