Apparently you can take the criminal out of the jail but you can’t take the jail out of the criminal….or something like that.
Apollo Nida, husband to celebrity attorney and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, is back to his old illegal tricks again.
According to TMZ:
The alleged scheme is sinister. He supposedly created fake companies which then allowed him to access various databases that had information about people whose identity he flat out stole.
He then allegedly opened fake bank accounts in the names of the victims and then somehow got hold of stolen U.S. Treasury checks, stolen retirement checks from Delta Airline employees and checks that were supposed to go to people who had unclaimed tax money.
Nida has been charged with bank fraud and identity theft and has already appeared in federal court.

Authorities were reportedly led to Nida by a woman identified as Gayla St. Julien, who was arrested in September 2013 by the Secret Service following a seven-month investigation. Authorities say St. Julien was found to have opened at least 40 bank accounts under stolen identities to commit bank and check fraud totaling about $3 million, reports the site.
St. Julien reportedly implicated Nida as the man who orchestrated many of the fraudulent schemes dating back to 2009.
Nida previously served time in jail for breaking federal racketeering laws related to auto title fraud, according to the site. Shortly after his release from prison in 2009, he married Parks, an attorney.
As we all know Apollo has quite a sketchy past. He’s been arrested in the past for such things such as possession of a firearm, theft by receiving stolen property, and motor vehicle theft. All this I’m hoping Phaedra knew about before she got with him…but if she did, WHY get with him?
