“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams is re-engaged to her former fiancé Dennis McKinley.
It looks like Williams and McKinley are giving love another go after rumors of McKinley’s alleged cheating. Williams stopped by “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” – the executive producer of #RHOA – and spilled the beans on her “re-engagement.” “We are re-engaged,” said Williams, who shares 8-month-old daughter Pilar Jhena with McKinley, later adding, “Yes, it’s the same ring.”
The two were previously planning to walk down the aisle, but the wedding was put on hold after Williams found out McKinley had cheated on her while she was pregnant with their child. Fans witnessed Williams’ breakup on the hit reality TV show, where the 38-year-old returned her ring to McKinley per his request. Bravo cameras started filming just “two or three weeks after their separation,” Williams said on WWHL.
However, when it comes to trust, Williams said she and McKinley aren’t quite there yet. Williams said the two are “still working it out.” “We’re working on our family. It takes time,” Williams said. “I love him, and he loves me, and we’re doing what’s best for our family. That’s really all you can do. You have to have trust,” she added, stressing that they were “absolutely” working to rebuild that.
Back in November, Williams announced at BravoCon that she and McKinley would be moving forward with their plans to get married, telling fans, “You will hopefully see me get married on television.” So far, though, Williams said they do not have an exact date. “We don’t have a set date yet,” the wedding “will be next year,” Williams said.
