“RHOSLC” Star Mary Cosby’s Son Robert Jr. Arrested for Assault After Allegedly Trying to Enter Relative’s Home Through Dog Door

Another “Real Housewife” is facing some serious family issues.

Robert Jr., the son of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Mary Cosby, was arrested over the weekend near Salt Lake City. According to TMZ, Robert Jr. is facing a string of charges, including criminal trespassing, assault, failing to comply with police commands, and violating a court order not once but three times.

According to police, officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving Robert Jr., allegedly attempting to break into his father-in-law’s home by crawling through a dog door. Once outside, he reportedly assaulted someone on the property’s front lawn.

When officers arrived, Robert Jr. reportedly ignored commands to get on the ground. Eventually, he complied and was taken into custody. His bond has been set at $5,000.

This latest arrest adds to a growing list of legal troubles for the young man, who shared some of his personal turmoil on the series. He was previously picked up for DUI, driving without a license, and violating traffic laws. Although he pleaded guilty to DUI, the other charges were dropped. However, he was later summoned back to court after allegedly failing to prove he completed a required rehab program.

Despite Cosby’s previous claims on the “RHOSLC” reunion that her son had attended drug treatment and was doing well, recent signs have pointed to an ongoing struggle.

He previously opened up about abusing pills on the show and his depression. It’s unclear if this latest drama will play out in Season 6.
