Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant stopped through The Breakfast Club, where she revealed she and her ex-husband are no longer trying to make it work.
Bryant and Pastor Jamal Bryant are no longer trying to revive their relationship. She explained the two called it quits during the pandemic.
“We were working on us getting back together…but he lives in Atlanta; I live in Maryland…with the pandemic, we just realized it’s not the right time,” she said. “It’s just not going to work.”
Bryant emphasized that she is single but that her ex will always be part of her life as the father of her three children.
“We’ve been in each other’s lives for 25 years. He is one of my best friends [and] I to him. I don’t know anyone more than I know a Jamal Bryant,” Bryant said. “No, we’re not together, but yes, we are still in each other’s lives.”
Bryant and the pastor divorced in 2009 over his cheating ways. The two rekindled their relationship, but Bryant revealed during Season 5 that the pandemic had strained their relationship. Jamal lived in Atlanta, where he is the New Birth Missionary Church pastor, where coronavirus case numbers were high. During that time, Gizelle remained at home in Maryland.
