Rich Homie Quan is arguably one of 2014’s notable breakout stars. Linking up with the powerful YMCMB label, Rich Homie has meshed well with the roster and is one of three artists in Rich Gang.
Unfortunately for the rapper, the Drake-assisted “Tell Me Why” leaked to heat the Internet but he promises more records are certainly on the way. “To be honest, ‘Tell Me Why’ leaked and there are more records with Drake. I didn’t want ‘Tell Me Why’ to get leaked but it did,” he said.
Somewhat caught in the middle of what appears to be a falling out between Birdman and Lil Wayne, Rich Homie Quan doesn’t involve himself too much in the situation.
“To be honest as far as the Birdman thing I try not to get into it because stories get flipped and what not,” he explained. “But my relationship with Bird is totally different and I pray for the situation because we’re all under the Rich Gang umbrella.”
Despite what folks might think, the independent rapper believes his relationship with Birdman has nothing to do with what’s going on between him and Weezy. “I wouldn’t say that because I’ve met Wayne. I wouldn’t say that at all,” he said.
