Thanks to his girlfriend Lira Galore’s snapchat, last month we learned Rick Ross was on an ankle monitor. Today we learned that he can leave his home, but only for business related purposes. Great news because we know Lira wasn’t trying to go back to the strip club, Steebie!
Ross was in court in Atlanta on Thursday where his travel restrictions were finally lifted. You may recall Rick Ross was arrested in June on aggravated battery and assault. He was released a week later on a $2 Million bond. As a rapper, not being able to leave town for concerts, tours, and appearances has probably made it extremely difficult to recoup the $2 million+ he paid to bond himself out twice in a month.
Thankfully, a judge has finally given The Biggest Bawse permission to cross state lines for business related purposes only, and it doesn’t come without additional rules Ross must abide by. First, Rick Ross must give the D.A. 5 days notice of any travel, including flight times, where he’s staying, and why he has to go. Also, once Ross returns, he has a 2 hour grace period to get to his home. Considering he lives in Fayetteville and that’s about a 25-30 minute drive to the airport, there’s not much time for traffic, extracurricular activities and lallygagging.
But hey, who cares about strict rules when you can start getting these coins again?
“Feels real good just to go out,” Ross told Channel 2 Action News. “Everybody that supported you, your fans. And everybody that’s been sending their love.”
