Rick Ross is finally a licensed driver! The Boss revealed on the TODAY Show that he got his driver’s license about two weeks ago at age 45.
The rapper, who owns more than 100 cars, can finally start legally driving them. When asked by Al Roker if it was worth the wait, Ross said it was and that his smile had previously gotten him off the hook when he got pulled over.
“It was just something about my smile, and anytime I got pulled over, by the time the officer walked up…” he said, grinning into the camera.
Ross said his mom and his sister were the driving force behind him becoming a legal driver.
“My mom and sister pressured me, finally, so I went, took the test,” Ross said. “It took me an hour. You know, I missed a few answers, but I got it, I got it.”
Ross, known for being a car enthusiast, also revealed that he was driven to the test.
“I actually was driven to the test. I have over 100 cars, and I just hadn’t had my license,” the rapper revealed. “So whenever I go joy riding, you know, it was just one of those things.”
