It comes as no surprise that Rick Ross is wealthy. But he recently made an appearance on Revolt’s new show Assets Over Liabilities, where he talked about buying a home so that he could drive past it.
You read that right. The rapper discussed buying a million-dollar home in Atlanta just to “ride by it” and look at it.
“Homes was something I was always fascinated about, so me and my homies started coming up to Atlanta,” Rozay said. “We used to ride by here all the time [we would pull over] and just be like God damn.”
He continued, “After I got my deal and my situation, I bought a million-dollar home maybe two minutes from here that I still own that’s right around the corner just so I can ride by it every day while I’m in Atlanta, and that’s what the play was.”
On top of being a rapper, Ross is also a business owner. He owns franchises with both Wingstop and Checkers. He recently gifted a Wingstop to his son for his 16th birthday, hoping to pass down the entrepreneurial spirit.
Ross, who reportedly pulls in around $585,000 a month, is as well known for his saving and budgeting as he is for his spending. He is known for cutting his own grass and flying commercial over private.
