Rick Ross is not one to hop on the latest trend without it being verified, and that even goes for almond milk.
The Biggest Boss, alongside his friend and longtime collaborator Dj Khaled, spoke on the nutty dairy substitution on the premiere episode of GQ’s “Hype Debate.” As the two men dished on the best snack choices for an empty stomach, Khaled gleamed as he praised Cinnamon Toast Crunch with almond milk. However, the “Here I Am” superstar was skeptical of the plant-based milk. In fact, he admitted he is even fearful of the healthy liquid.
“Rozay still frightened…I’m frightened,” he hilariously told the We The Best Music founder.
According to the MMG head honcho, he only recently discovered two percent milk, so the idea of almond milk will take him a while to get used to. Ross even went as far as questioning where the milk was actually coming from.
“Is it from the almond of the walnut? Is they squeezing it out of the peanut?” This question seemingly stumped the joyful Khaled, who said he didn’t have the answer but still encouraged his buddy to try it.
Rick Ross is no stranger to questioning things that do not sit well with him. Earlier this year, he challenged the validity of the crypto-market and sudden public interest in the metaverse. He posed a question via Instagram, asking crypto investors to prove that they were making money before he jumped on the wave.
Ross will need to be persuaded that the ground-up almonds mixed with water and vitamins are genuinely healthy before he consumes them, so it appears that a few nutritionists will need to step up.
