Ricky Bell is officially a girl dad! On Father’s Day, the New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe singer shared on Instagram that he and wife Amy Correa Bell have welcomed their first child.
A beautiful photo of their newborn’s tiny hand cradled in their hands accompanied Ricky’s caption: “Been looking forward to celebrating this day, God’s ‘Mercy’ has arrived… Happy Father’s Day!”
The Bells first teased news of a little one on the way in early 2025, announcing “Reservation for 3.” This joyful reveal came shortly after the couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.
Their journey hasn’t always been easy, but Ricky and Amy stayed transparent about the work it took to strengthen their relationship.
“We promised each other that breaking up is not an option,” Ricky shared. “So whatever little bit of faith we can muster up—whatever trust—we do it.” Amy added, “Since all of our challenges, I think we’re more in love and united now than we’ve ever been.”
