After a year-long absence, Rihanna has announced that the third annual Diamond Ball will take place in New York City.
The ball raises money for the singer’s Clara Lionel Foundation, launched in 2012 to aid global communities in health, education, and art.
“New York always offers the perfect background for an amazing event,” Fenty said in a statement released Tuesday. “It’s a great way to celebrate the Clara Lionel Foundation’s accomplishments as well as bring awareness to our mission globally. I know it’ll be a night to remember!”
The Diamond Ball takes place September 14 at NYC’s Cipriani Wall Street. Previously, the event was held in Beverly Hills in 2014 and Santa Monica in 2015.
Since its launch, the foundation has teamed up with fashion house Dior, and the singer recently received the 2017 Humanitarian of the Year Award from the Harvard Foundation.
