Rihanna Says “Music Got the Attention, But God Had Other Plans” as She Launches Fenty Beauty in the Caribbean [Video]

Rihanna is back in her home country of Barbados, celebrating the launch of Fenty Beauty’s Caribbean expansion.

Her wildly popular line will now be available in stores across Antigua, Bahamas, Aruba, Bermuda, Cayman, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, St. Maarten, and Jamaica, where fans will get a “special” treat.

During her speech, Rihanna thanked her family, friends, and fellow Bajans for their unwavering support and then opened up about her music career.

“Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me,” she shared. “I cannot express what this day means to me, to be able to celebrate with people that deserve it the most. Thank you to my country.”

Though Rihanna’s message left Navy fans hopeful, it may be a sign that she’s choosing to focus on her beauty empire.
