Rihanna Cancels Grammy Performance Due To Illness

Notice anyone missing during Monday night’s broadcast of the 58th Annual Grammy Awards? Unfortunately, as much as we wanted to see the Bad Gal tear down the stage this year, it just couldn’t happen.

Sources tell TMZ that the pop star arrived at the Staples Center, but did not walk the red carpet. They say that Rihanna attended rehearsals and left. According to reports, Rih has been battling with bronchitis and is currently on meds. She had a doctor on site who recommended it was best not to move forward with the performance, as not to damage her vocal cords. Though Rihanna wanted to perform, it was under doctor’s orders that she went home. 

According to TMZ, Rihanna was going to perform “Kiss It Better.”
