From here on out, we will refer to Rihanna as Big RiRi in celebration of the beauty mogul’s new perfume selling out within hours of its release.
After weeks of anticipation, Fenty Eau de Parfum was added to the Fenty Beauty lineup on Tuesday. The luxurious fragrance sold out shortly after. The scent is Ri’s second time dabbling in the perfume world, with her Reb’L Fleur by Rihanna being on shelves for years now. However, Fenty Eau de Parfum is the first fragrance released under her billion-dollar cosmetic and lingerie empire.
The 33-year-old took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself seated on a bed next to a bowl of caviar with the caption, “how I woke up after #FENTYPARFUM sold out this morning!!!”
According to the scent’s product description, buyers can expect a smell that marries magnolia and musk with hints of tangerine, blueberry, Bulgarian rose absolute, geranium, and patchouli. Ri describes the perfume as an “unapologetic expression of my full and true essence.”
While no one will be able to get their hands on a bottle of Fenty at the moment, a “Notify Me” button has been added to the website to keep fans up to date on the restock.
