Rihanna is absolutely thriving in her motherhood era, embracing every moment as she grows and learns alongside her two sons, RZA and Riot.
At the launch of her Savage x Fenty line in Nordstrom on Thursday, October 10th, Rihanna radiated joy as she spoke to Access Hollywood‘s Scott Evans about her journey as a mom.
“It’s fun. I literally, I enjoy it so much,” the singer gushed about motherhood.
“I am just looking at them and living through them, and I’m amazed by every new discovery of theirs, even their boundaries. They’re teaching me how to be their mom as much as I’m teaching them how to be in this world and guide them as best as I can,” adding, “The second that his baby brother cries, he’s there. He’s running down; he’s actually crying, too. He’s worried. He loves him! It’s just hard to share toys and pacifiers.”
Days before Rih praised their children, A$AP Rocky opened up about the moment he believes Rihanna fell in love with him, which he says happened years before they became an item. In a recent W Magazine cover story photographed by his superstar girlfriend, the Harlem rapper reminisced about their chemistry being sparked when Rihanna agreed to appear in his “Fashion Killa” music video back in 2012, where they played on-screen lovers. In his Manhattan apartment, Rocky pointed to a sofa and fondly recalled their love story.
“This is very special because this is the first place she fell in love with me,” while Rihanna reportedly giggled in the background. He added, “Virgil Abloh shot the music video for ‘Fashion Killa’ in 2012, and that was the same couch where Rihanna and I sat in the first scene. That was that same room.”
When asked how he knew Rihanna was the right person to start a family with, Rocky responded, “I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think. So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected.”
The couple later joyfully welcomed sons RZA and Riot together in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
